Ancaster Swimmers Place 1st at Ontario Provincial Championships!

Mike Carnegie and Doreen King of the Ancaster Masters Swim Club placed first in all nine events they entered at the 2011 Ontario Masters Swimming Championships held in Nepean, Ontario. Mike placed first in his age group in all 6 races he entered including the 200 IM, 400 IM, 50 Butterfly, 100 Butterfly, 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle. Doreen placed first in her age group for three events: 50, 100 and 200 M Breaststroke. The two member team placed 33rd out of 56 teams competing at the meet. Coach Herb deBray was pleased with the results and credited the wins to the dedication Carnegie and King had to their training schedules this season. Well done!
